Introducing the first Pretreatment kit capable of preparing slides for CISH and/or FISH analysis on Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) tissue.
Our ready-to-use Tissue Pretreatment Kit has been optimized to produce excellent visual results with our extensive CytoCell® Pathology FISH range.
To further extend the utility of the kit we have also validated its use with other commercially available CISH (chromogenic in situ hybridization) and FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) DNA probes*.
With ease-of-use and convenience in mind, our simple two stage FFPE slide preparation protocol employs the use of ready-to-use reagents; which have been optimized to increase the permeabilization of cell membranes and facilitate penetration of the desired FISH or CISH DNA probe.

Our pretreatment kit is capable of preparing slides for CISH and/or FISH analysis on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue. Watch our videos showing step-by-step instructions on how to use the kit.
Always refer to the instructions for use supplied with the product. Further validation is required for use in a diagnostic setting.
The information in this protocol is based on independent validation carried out by CytoCell on a representative set of tissues using the CytoCell Tissue Pretreatment Kit (LPS 100) and should be used for guidance purposes only.
The CytoCell Tissue Pretreatment Kit (LPS 100) may not be available in your region.
It has saved us an incredible amount of time; now the entire pretreatment process, including probing, takes just three hours rather than a full day, which has increased our capacity. We no longer have to repeat 50% of our samples, more like 5%.
