myProbes® is a custom design and manufacture service that provides unique fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) probes using the BAC-2- FISH™ process. This process utilizes CytoCell’s proprietary BAC clone collection containing >220,000 clones to produce fully quality-assured custom FISH probes for virtually any sequence in the entire human genome. Over 2,000 myProbes projects have been completed since 2010.
Based on your specific interests and research, custom FISH probes may range from a simple catalog probe modification to a truly unique product.
CytoCell offers expert consultation from start to finish on your project. Contact us to learn more.
All custom myProbes are tested on your specific sample type (when available) to ensure reproducibility. Our process and quality assurances are designed to produce high-quality probes and accurate results.

I have been working with CytoCell for more than four years. They have designed and developed three successful customized triple colour FISH probes for us; SPAG5/HER2/Ch17, MDM2/TROAP/Ch12 and HER3/CDK4/Ch12. They produced high quality, consistent probes with bright signals. The production and delivery was very quick. The customer service and management teams were highly professional and offered excellent pre and post-sale services. They efficiently communicated and engaged with our laboratory team in every step of the staining process to sort out any obstacles and provide valuable advice to ensure smooth process and high quality signals and easy scoring.

Working with them to create a custom probe was really easy, and they designed exactly what we wanted. The custom probe is now our standard probe for BCR/ABL1 FISH analysis.

We decided to try the CytoCell TGFBR3 custom probe after struggling to get a satisfactory analysis with a TGFBR3 probe from a different manufacturer. The CytoCell probe has a far superior quality, with bright, clear signals. The hybridization time with the other probe was 48-72 hours. However, the CytoCell probe hybridizes overnight, which facilitates a much faster turnaround time.
