An opportunity has arisen within our Oxford-based Quality Assurance Department for a Compliance Coordinator - responsible for compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Information Security and quality.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, your role will be predominantly focused on Compliance activities with key responsibilities in the management for Health & Safety for the site and ensuring compliance with information security requirements. There will also be the opportunity to get involved with management of aspects of the quality management system.


Your tasks will include:

Health & Safety

  • Management of Health & Safety
  • Maintenance of H&S documentation
  • Participation in H&S Committee meetings
  • Management of site H&S Inspections
  • Representation of the company in external H&S audits
  • H&S process improvement

Information Security

  • Management of the ISO27001-compliant, Cyber Essentials-compliant Information Security Management System
  • Assistance with Information Security auditing
  • Maintenance of IS documentation
  • Representation of the company in external ISO27001 audits
  • IS process improvement

You will have:

  • A degree in a science related subject, or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience working in either a H&S or IS role preferably within a regulated industry
  • Desirable: Experience within a laboratory environment
  • Desirable: experience working in an ISO certified environment
  • Training will be provided if you do not have experience in all aspects of the role
